About Credo Coffee

Walking into Credo Coffee feels like stepping into a neighborhood hangout that just happens to take coffee very seriously, and that’s usually how I introduce it to friends who are hunting for a relaxed coffee shop in downtown Edmonton. Located at 10162 Howard St, Edmonton, AB T5J 0T6, Canada, this spot sits comfortably in the daily rhythm of the area, making it an easy stop whether you’re heading to work, meeting someone between errands, or simply wandering with a craving for a solid cup of coffee. The vibe is welcoming and unfussy, with the kind of atmosphere that invites you to slow down, open a laptop, or settle into conversation without feeling rushed. What stands out right away is how smoothly everything works, from ordering at the counter to grabbing a seat, which makes the experience feel effortless even during busy hours. Credo Coffee offers flexible service options that fit different moods and schedules, including outdoor seating when the weather cooperates, on-site services, takeaway for those on the move, comfortable dine-in space, and delivery if staying put makes more sense. The menu keeps things focused and approachable, centering on quality coffee and quick bites that pair perfectly with a morning routine or an afternoon break. I often describe it as the kind of place where you can pop in for a fast takeaway coffee and end up staying longer than planned, because the space quietly encourages it. The room tends to buzz with a mix of regulars, creatives, and casual drop-ins, and the smell of fresh coffee, soft background music, and simple décor all work together to keep the mood light and easy. Whether you’re a local looking for a dependable coffee shop or a visitor wanting a taste of Edmonton’s café culture, Credo Coffee fits naturally into the day, offering consistency, comfort, and a straightforward coffee experience that feels easy to return to again and again.

Stopped in before I had to leave Edmonton and I’m glad I did. Coffee was delicious and I even got myself a bag to take home as my souvenir from the city. The veggie wrap was delightful and just what I needed after a tour of the local art museum. Lovely place and definitely recommend!

I came in stressed after life happened just looking for a place to hide out with a good cup of coffee. Not only was the coffee phenomenal; without hesitation when I asked the barista to make whatever they want they got right to work. Not in the city often but when I am I will be coming back just for the incredible service, quality of coffee and the tranquil atmosphere

I visited a charming and bustling coffee shop during lunchtime, and I must say, the experience was delightful. Despite being busy, the service was top-notch, and the staff managed to attend to everyone efficiently. The atmosphere was lively, with the place buzzing with people enjoying their drinks and conversations. I decided to try their mocha, and I was pleasantly surprised. Instead of an overpowering chocolate taste, the mocha had a subtle hint of chocolate, which added a unique twist to the flavor. It was a pleasant departure from the usual chocolate-heavy mochas I've had elsewhere.

Cute little coffee shop! The staff was very friendly and sweet. The breakfast wraps look very unassuming but we’re really tasty when heated up (~5 mins). The cranberry cornmeal muffin was also really good but not too many cranberries. Solid coffee and would definitely come back!

Credo Coffee is one of my favorite cafés in downtown Edmonton. The coffee here is always delicious, and I really enjoy sitting outside at the patio tables. A perfect spot to relax with a great cup of coffee.

Stopped in for a coffee at Credo on Rice Howard Way—a cozy, modern spot nestled in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Though it’s my first time reviewing this location, I’ve enjoyed their coffee before at The Carrot, where I once volunteered. It’s great to see their quality and consistency carry across locations. We ordered the Americano Misto, served with a lovely motif that made the experience feel extra special. The coffee was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced—just what we needed for a relaxing break. We’ve included a couple of photos to capture the moment and the beautiful presentation. Credo’s commitment to ethically sourced beans and expertly crafted brews is evident in every cup. The vibe here is relaxed yet vibrant, perfect for a midday pause or a quiet moment to recharge. Friendly baristas and a clean, minimalist space make it a standout among downtown cafés. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Credo is worth the stop. A great cup of coffee with a conscience.
